I opened the Nursery in Lincoln with Gemma Edwards in Aug 2008. I have over 13 years’ experience in the Early Years Sector. I am the registered person for the nursery. I spend 2/3 days at the Lincoln Nursery as I also oversee our second nursery in Ollerton. You will find me mainly in the office carrying out duties including fees, Invoices, administration, monitoring /creating and updating the nurseries policies and procedures. I ensure the implementation of the EYFS (reformed Sept 2012) and that it is evident in all practitioners practice. My area of expertise is the Pre-School and I ensure my Pre-School Leader and all practitioners are maintaining practice of the highest standard and are committed to safeguarding all the children in our care.

I have been married over 15 years and we have 2 children who are growing up rather fast!!! We love doing things as a family visiting places and spending time outside.
I am so proud we have maintained our vision throughout the many years we have been open of

“Putting the FUN back into childcare”

      Nursery Manager

      Jenny Andrews

      Nursery Manager

      Childcare L3

I have worked in nurseries now for getting close to 12 years. My experience started out as a student straight from 6th form training towards my NVQ Level 3, and throughout my career I have been fortunate enough to have opportunities to progress right the way up to being part of a management team. I have worked with all age groups throughout my nursery career however my heart is with the pre-school aged children. After working in pre-school for 8 of my 12 years of experience I consider it my area of expertise!

My job role is very diverse within the nursery. As well as looking after the day to day running of the nursery I also help oversee the running of the pre-school, I am the lead SENDCo helping children with additional needs, and the Behaviour Management Officer. I also still go over to the Lincoln nursery regularly to help with the SENDCo role and support Jess (the Lincoln SENDCo) with providing for children with additional needs.

We started Fun Farm Day Nursery Lincoln in 2008 and I was very honoured to be asked to be a part of setting it all up. We worked very hard initially with the setting up process and I am immensely proud of what we achieved. We opened the Ollerton nursery in January 2014 and worked extremely hard turning things around to the Fun Farm way. To date the nurseries are one of my greatest achievements and I am very happy to be a part of the Fun Farm Family!

      Laura Mangles

      Deputy Manager

      Childcare Level 3

I am the Deputy Manager here at Fun Farm Day Nursery. I also work in the Early Years Pod as the room Supervisor and am the deputy SENDCo.

In my personal life I have 2 lovely little girls of my own who are my pride and joy; I also have a very supportive family and friends. I enjoy going out and exploring new places with my family and friends and my favourite things are chocolate and coffee and snuggling up with my little girl and watching films. I am slightly scared of insects and bugs, but enjoy getting stuck in with mini-beast hunting with the children.

At work I really enjoy getting messy and trying new things with the children, I enjoy and feel really proud helping the children learn and achieve new things and watching them grow and develop over time.

I am a very helpful and supportive person and do not mind helping others with anything, no matter how big or small.
